Christian M. Thomas
born 1962 in Heidelberg, raised in West Berlin.

Christian Thomas studied Photography at the Berliner Lette-Verein. He began his career working as a photographic assistant and location scout, including two summers for Annie Leibovitz. With the opening of his own studio, 25 years ago, Christian Thomas was able to build for himself a solid reputation as an award-winning advertising and portrait photographer.

Over the years Thomas has curated several highly acclaimed exhibitions of his work and also won the Canon ProFashional Photo Award.

Eight of his works from the series “Victory and defeat, Boxer Portraits” are included in the renowned FC Gundlach Collection.
Christian Thomas lives and works in Berlin. His most recent published work, “Akali”, is an illustrated book featuring photographs from India.
